     John was born at Paterson, New Jersey, on 23 December 1906.1 He married Charlotte Sanders Hubbard at Mt. Clemens, Michigan, on 31 October 1928.2 John was divorced from Charlotte Sanders Hubbard in 1931.2 He served a major general in the U. S. Army during World War II. John died on 6 June 1966 at Annapolis, Anne Arundal County, Maryland, at age 59.2 His body was interred after 6 June 1966 at Arlington, Arlington County, Virginia, at Arlington National Cemetery.2
