During World War II, he served his country from 1942 to 1946 as a Lieutenant with the United States Navy, returning to active duty with the Navy at the time of the Korean Conflice, 1950-51, as a Lieutenant Commander. In 1963, he was promoted to Commander with the Naval Reserve. Mr. Tabb is a Democrat and worships at the Methodist Church. He married Judith Harr. Linwood was born at Norfolk, Norfolk City, Virginia, on 25 July 1919.¹ Linwood graduated at Charlottesville, Albemarle County, Virginia, in 1944.² He married Doris Jones on 7 May 1955.
