Albert P. King and Mattie Forrester
     Albert King married Mattie Forrester in 1898. They had three children; a son, who died in infance; and two daughters, Viva Egger and Margaret.

Albert was very successful as a farmer and rancher. For many years he and the Green Hughes family of Titus-Franklin Counties were partners in ranching and owned a large ranch on the prairie between Sulphur and White Oak. He owned other lands at various places in both Titus and Franklin Counties. He was a stockhold in Winfield National Bank.

Albert was the Chairman of the draft board of Titus County from the creation of the board until the end of the war.

Mattie King died in 1927. Albert then married Alma Reed. They had no children. Albert was born at Mt. Pleasant, Titus County, Texas, on 14 October 1872.1,2 He married Mattie Lewis Ellen Forrester in 1898.2 Albert P. King married Alma Reed after 1927.2 Albert P. King died on 30 January 1958 at age 85.2 He was buried after 30 January 1958 at Masonic Cemetery, Mt. Pleasant, Titus County, Texas.2
