     Thomas's occupation: He was a minister of the Cumberland Presbyterian Churchr..1,2 Thomas was born at Mecklenburg County, Virginia, on 19 November 1808.3 He married Mary Emmeline Jones at Mecklenburg County, Virginia, on 26 November 1835.3 Thomas died on 15 November 1885 at Alabama at age 76.4 His body was interred after 15 November 1885 at Marion, Perry County, Alabama, at Marion Cemetery.4,2
