     She was the twin sister of Thomas Anderson Tabb. Following the War she moved to Marion, Alabama where she married.

Of the six girls (yes, even Willie Tabb was a girl; she was named for the beloved older brother of her mother who died at Atlanta during the War) all were teachers in colleges and/or universities and most traveled and studied abroad. Only Augusta Thomas was married. She married Gustavus Lunsford Bahner of Arkansas where she taught art and history.

With the deaths of the three Tabb sons in the 1850s and 1860s, the Tabb surname of that line died. There were no sons in Mary Frances Tabb Moore's family and that line of the Moore family died also.
