George Booth Baskerville

George's occupation: Minister.. George Booth Baskerville ran away from home when he was sixteen to enlist in the Confederate Army. He served the three ensuing years of war in General Nathan B. Forrest's Cavalry, and was almost the last survivor of that famous organization. At the end of the war, he entered the ministry and was a vigorous and useful churchman, as well as a successful and prosperous planter of Fayette Co., Tennessee. He and Sally (Read) Baskerville had nine children.
